Industry and Infrastructure
- Process overview
- To complete a single product (automobile, electronic device, etc.), it is shipped as a product through various parts and processes. Parts are manufactured in variety ways, and each process is established as an industry. This is the basis of the manufacturing industry.
Surface Treatment
Surface treatment is a process that is performed on the surface of a material to enhance its strength and durability, or as a decoration. It is a process of zinc plating, tin plating, chrome plating, chemical conversion treatment, etc. on the surface heat exchangers from HISAKA plate heat exchanger are used mainly for temperature control of the tank.
[Etching solution cooler]
Since etching solution must be cooled and the temperature must be kept constant, HISAKA heat exchangers are used to control the temperature of the process.
[Electrolytic copper plating solution cooler]
The plating solution is circulated and a plate heat exchanger is used to control the temperature. In addition, a circulating flow is used to stir the plating solution in the plating tank, to keep it uniform.
[Electroplating solution cooler]
If the temperature of the plating solution is not properly controlled, the quality of the product will be greatly affected. HISAKA heat exchangers are often used for this application.
[Bath solution heater/cooler for alumite treatment]
HISAKA heat exchangers are used for precise temperature control in each process of alumite treatment.
Mold Fabrication
[Die cooling water cooler for injection molding machine]
Plastic molding machines and surface processing machines require a cooling process. Since cooling directly with cooling water can cause clogging and contamination of the cooling line, HISAKA heat exchangers are used as indirect coolers.
[Roller cooling water cooler for film glossing machine]
The rollers of a film glossing machine need to be cooled with cooling water to cure the plastic. HISAKA heat exchangers are often used in indirect cooling systems to cool this cooling water with external cooling water, to prevent it from getting dirty.
[Plastic plating solution cooler]
HISAKA heat exchangers are often used to control the temperature of process fluids.
[Reactor jacket water cooler]
The polyurethane seat cushions used in automobiles are foamed in the reactor, but the chemical raw materials are cooled in chilled water before being sent to the reactor. HISAKA heat exchangers, which have a small internal volume and high performance, are often used for this application.
Rubber and Tires
In rubber and tire manufacturing, there are many processes such as kneading of raw materials, vulcanization, and injection molding. HISAKA heat exchangers are used for cooling, since many devices become overloaded and easily generate heat.
[Cooling water cooler for kneader]
Since the raw materials of rubber tires generate heat while being mixed with chemical additives in a kneader, HISAKA heat exchangers are often used to cool the cooling water in the kneader.
[Molded rubber cooling tank water cooler for extruder]
In the extrusion process, rubber is molded by applying pressure and heat, but once molded the product is cooled in a cooling tank. HISAKA heat exchangers are often used to cool the tank water.
[Roll cooling oil cooler for vulcanizer]
Oil is used to cool the heat generated by the rollers in the vulcanizer. HISAKA heat exchangers are often used to cool the oil.
[Steam drain heat recovery for vulcanization (curing) process]
In the vulcanization process in which tires and other products are thermally cured by steam, steam drain is discharged from the vulcanizing vessel. HISAKA heat exchangers are often used to recover this heat.
Heating Furnaces
A heating furnace is required to manufacture forged products and to quench metal. Heating furnaces are protected with jackets, and HISAKA heat exchangers are used to cool them.
[Jacket cooling water cooler for forging heating furnace]
Forging heating furnaces are equipped with cooling jackets to prevent overheating, and HISAKA heat exchangers are often used to cool the jacket water.
[Electric coil cooling water cooler for induction heating furnace]
HISAKA heat exchangers are often used to cool the circulating water which used to cool the electric coils in induction heating furnaces for quenching metal parts.
